His one of the hit movies “Major Chandrakanth” has completed 20 years. This was released on April 23rd 1993. In this occasion actor cum producer of the film Mohan Babu said that it was really exiting to work with annaya.
Manchu banner first film “Prathigna” clap was given by annaya only and when he accepted for this film I offer annaya Rs.25 lakhs as advance after hearing this he laughed and said that did I ask for money no need keep it worth you. But when I forced him then he said ok fine keep your hands in bag and given me how much that comes into your hand.
I tried a lot catch amount and gave few bunch notes that would be around 2 to 3 lakhs. After the film shoot starts we enjoyed the shoot very well and when a take comes and if Raghavendar Rao director of the movie “Major Chandrakanth” wants are shot he finds little difficult to ask annaya then I used to go and say we will take one more take he comes with smiling face and completes the shot.
He is such a great person that we are emotionally attached to him a lot. On the last day of shoot when he is going all the film unit members including me cried. There is no other person so far in the industry equal to NTR.
