Venky who is flying high now with SVSC success got a big challenge in front of him now. His movie Shadow is releasing today. The movie is estimated to cross its budget line it has shoot many scenes and songs in abroad which made the budget of the movie to go nearly 30 cores.Venky's first high budget movie as a solo hero. He has to overcome it. No one is sure whether the film collects above 30 crores but there are some who believe that Venky can overcome this hurdle with his style. This can be known in very few hours.
Story:
Rajaram (Venkatesh) childhood is shown first. He lives along with his mother (Geetha) and father Raghuram (Nagababu). In his childhood he sees his father get killed by a notorious don Nana Bhai (Adithya Pancholi) and gets separated from his mother and he lives with only one aim to take revenge on Nana Bhai. He renames as shadow. In this process he falls in love with Madhubala (Tapsee). Now comes the inspector Pratap (Srikanth) who gets the track of Nana Bhai. What happens after this how Shadow kills Nana Bhai and what Pratap will do to stop Shadow forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
This is really a great stroke to audience and for producer. Mehar Ramesh in spite repeated feed backs he made the same blunder and made one more block buster flop. Venkatesh performance is the only positive element in the story.
As a director it’s merely his failure he repeated the same mistakes he did in his previous films. The only shocking element is how Producer believed him and invested such a huge amount. This is first high budget film in Venky’s career.
But it is a miserable failure near box office. The story is quite common and even though it is common director can still make audience stuck to their seats with various other elements entertainment. This is mandatory for films now Ramesh without even knowing this minimum formula made this blunder.
Foreign locations and action scenes don’t made a film success this should be realized by the director first.
First half goes fine till the title song and after that the pain starts and it continues till the break. And the second half is disgusting and contains lot of blunders.
Finally shadow goes into shade.
