A case came to light in Virar yesterday when a woman has cheated another couple whom they promised to sell their newborn son for meager Rs 1.5 lakh. Pooja Parmar approached Virar police station with a notarized sale agreement in hand, accusing of cheating by 22-year-old Ayesha Khan saying that she had an agreement to buy her son. Ayesha was admitted at Ganesh Hospital in Virar city of Maharashtra under Pooja's name and gave birth to a boy on February 15. Pooja had agreed with Ayesha that she would pay her Rs 1 lakh if she had a girl and Rs 1.5 lakh if she had a boy.
