A magnitude-7.4 earthquake has struck 140 Kms south of Papua New Guinea, that is near the Pacific Ocean, north of Australia. The weather Officials of this island said that this earthquake caused a small tsunami. Residents reported that the tremors sent items crashing off supermarket shelves. Capital Kokopo is without electricity and there are incidents of a landslide, however, no serious damage is expected.
