Rahul... though a son of a powerful politician, though many attempts made by her and her party men to project him as a top grade politician, though he is also making some futile attempts... even his party men are not in a position to accept his over all leadership. This is because of his own immature statements like "poverty actually does not exist but it is a state of mind" and so on so forth. Even in the National media and in the cartoons and caricatures, he is just portrayed as a small kid holding the finger or pallu of his mother. That is the status generally given to him. But recently when he was delivering a speech in Rajasthan, he announced that there are threats that he may also be killed like his grand mother Indira Gandhi and and his father Rajeev Gandhi. Just by equalizing him-self with his grand mother and father it is an impression in the public that he might have been over estimating about himself. His grandmother enjoyed a state of states-personship and even the American presidents like Nixon and other global leaders always kept an eye on the moves on Indira Gandhi with a keen interest and anxiousness. She is very well known for her international political affairs. She made so many successes on international fronts like formation of a country like Bangladesh despite a strong opposition from Nations like United States of America. Coming to his father... Rajeev Gandhi is also a victim of International terrorism as he indulged himself in the international affairs by sending the IPKF to Srilanka. But as far as Mr. Rahul Gandhi is concerned, except for the fact that he belongs to the family of the Great Nehru and Gandhis, so far he did not have any achievement for his favour in his political career. Even he did not afford to bring his own party in any of the states till now. Instead... for his sake i.e. to make him the P.M., the party in Andhra Pradesh also going to dogs and certainly this time it is sure that his own party is not going to capture any considerable numbers in Andhra Pradesh. In this present scenario When Mr. Rahul Gandhi is giving statements like getting assassinated like a great statesman does not suit to him. Unfortunately this is the impression of the majority people not only from other parties, but the people from his own party are also feeling the same
