Ghastly acts in the name of protesting are taking new turn in Seemandhra as political parties have jumped into the scene from sometime back.
Telugudesam cadres have built 'Sonia Ghat' (a tomb for buried body) the other day to express their anguish against Sonia Gandhi, for her involvement in bifurcating the state. On Tuesday, TDP leaders have built this tomb with stone bricks and cement at a burial ground here in Tirupathi town. They supported their acts saying that Seemandhra protesters have all rights to insult Sonia this way, as she and Congress MPs are playing dirty tricks with AP people from a long time. 'Ask Sonia to declare united Andhra Pradesh, we will build temple for her', said TDP Seemandhra protesters.
Breathing uneasy over these acts of Telugudesam, even Congress cadres jumped into the scene and started burying Chandrababu's effigies, and started doing 'final rite' poojas for some artificial-corpses that are named after the TDP president. Also Congress leaders have sought intervention of police department to demolish the Sonia Ghat and requested CM to slap cases against the TDP leaders.
With both these acts, the situation in Tirupathi turned quite tense as both TDP and Congress clashed with each other accusing the other of present unrest situation in state. But fact is that both the acts are non-sense in the name of protests, and this is surely damaging the image of Telugu Self Respect across the nation. 'Slamming with cuss words and scolding politicians is also acceptable to some extent during protests, but killing-them artificially is against nature', an observer said.
