30 or 70 or even 110. The number game apart, January 1st week will see a massive political upsurge in Andhra Pradesh.

As the Telangana tangle enveloped the Congress party, exodus over to TDP and YSRC is just days away. Congress MP Lagadapati has improved on congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy and PCC chief Botsa opinion and said as many 70 MLAs and 10-12 Union ministers and MPs would jump out of Congress after January 23, the date for compeltion of the T debate.

While the PCC chief said 30 MLAs would desert, JC had put the figure to 33 yesterday. The state intelligence had made a assessment report last week that as many as 45 MLAs and 6 MPs would resign in first week of January as debate on T Bill commences.

In the January second week, the CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was likely to launch his new party or at least he could resign from congress as the T debate and the aftermath could materialize . 'There could be no debate in assembly as all T lobby MLAs will push for en mase passage of it without voting by first week of January' said an intelligence report.

In all likely hood if the T bill is to be stopped all the YSRC and the Seemandhra congress MLAs would come out openly together in the first week itself. 'If not the T bill is as good as deemed passed itself' said an highly confidential report. It is said that the speaker Manohar would take tips from UP house which passed the bill in second sitting without even a voice vote', the sources.
