Irked by the non-co operative attitude of both the BJP and Congress for introduction of the Jan Lokpal Bill in Delhi Assembly, Arvind Kejriwal resigned and would be submitting his resignation to the Lt.Governor shortly,  thus ending his 49 days rule.

Scores of party workers have thronged Aam Admi Party office Delhi.  This IIT graduate and a former Income Tax official could not survive the dirty politics of regular politicians.  It made splashy debut by winning 27 seats and stood second next to BJP, which declined to form the Government, on the basis of strength of MLAs in the Assembly and came to power with Congress support, which has 8 MLAs in the Assembly.  Aam Admi Party launched a crusade against corruption in the country.

Arvind Kejriwal was a staunch supporter of Anna Hazare but later incurred his displeasure.  The short lived Government made many promises before the Elections and they are yet to be fulfilled.  During this short stint they protested against Delhi Police by sitting in Dharna in Delhi streets and they have also incurred the displeasure of former CM, Sheila Dikshit, against whom they ordered an inquiry.
