Army and police have rescued 86 people from flash floods and landslides in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. 26 members of a marriage party who were trapped in the flash floods were rescued in the district. Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said that after receiving the report of 26 persons of 3 families trapped at Dadwara in Mohra-Rehinbrohra in the middle of swelled river, a rescue team led by Tehsildar, Billawar, Dr Manmeet Kumar and local police rushed to the spot and after a 3-hour-long rescue operation, all persons were evacuated safely.
