It is known that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has conducted an aerial survey on December 3rd last year and proposed Pharma City at Mucherla (Ranga Reddy District) covering 11,000 acres.
As per the priliminary report submitted by Revenue Department to Telangana Government, Less than 2,000 acres Government land is available in and around Mucherla. Most of the lands in these 11,000 acres identified for Pharma City has been encroached by private parties.
Post a detailed survey, Telangana Government is going to take back the encroached land in Mucherla. This is a huge task ahed for the Government Machinery as Pharma City is expected to create 70,000 direct and indirect jobs. Lack of sufficient funds to hold the detailed survey is going to be a huge hurdle though!
