After Amma Canteens, Amma Mineral Water and Amma Salt, Tamil Nadu Government has introduced yet another populist scheme and this time its 'Amma Cement' which will be sld out at a subsidized price.
'Amma Cement' provides a bag of cement for Rs 190 in municipalities and corporations. The subsidized rate is almost hal of the actual price (Rs 360). This scheme has been launched Today in Tiruchirappali and will be expanded to all over Tamil Nadu by January 10th.
Tamil Nadu Government wull procure 2 lakh tonned of cement every month from Private Parties to implement this scheme.
For buying this subsidized cement, People will have to submit an approved building plan to the Government Authorities. There after, They could avail 50 bags for 100 sq ft and 750 bags for 1,500 sq ft at Rs 190.
