AP Government issued a notice to Telangana Government asking it to repay its share of loans amounting to Rs 450 taken from Centre by government of United AP.
In response, Telangana Government asked AP Government to furnish all the documents related to the loans to prove that those funds were utilised for the development of the newly formed state. The T-Goverment also made it clear that it would repay those loans only after it was completely convinced by the proofs.
Centre's delay in distribution of loans of United AP between AP and Telangana is to be blamed for the present dispute. It is learnt that Centre will be distributing loans project wise between the two Telugu states and the location of the project will be the criterion to decide who will repay it.
