
Telangana Government will be spending Rs 450 crore for Godavari Pushkaralu slated to be held in June-July 2015. Chief Minister KCR is likely to invite President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Godavari Pushkaralu during his next tour to Delhi. As a result, Government wishes to make sure all the arrangements were carried out for the auspicious event.
Senior Officials will be deployed to look after arrangements in Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts. The Vigilance Department will monitor the construction of 69 new ghats at Basar & Dharmapuri and repair works for existing 27 ghats will also be carried out soon. While Roads and Building Department will do works to the tune of Rs 266 crore, Panchayat Raj and Rural Water Supply receives Rs 100 crore funds and Irrigation Department gets Rs 86 crore.
As Devotees from all over the Country will be attending the Godavari Pushkaralu which were after every 12 Years, Telangana Government treats it as a matter of prestige and ensuring that there is no question of inconvenience.
