While the sudden death of 38-yr-old TV anchor Badri and his 8-yr-old younger son Sai Sathwik in car accident turned out to be significant topic, it was stated that sudden blow on Badri's chest (who was in driving seat) took away his life although he has no other major injuries on his body.
Apparently, the car steering struck him so hard causing fatal injuries to Badri. Also the pictures of Badri's accident revealed Badri skipping wearing a seat belt. With this, it's clear that Badri could have survived if he was wearing a seat belt. Badri was just a few kms away from reaching the spot but met unfortunate end.
Not wearing seat belts while travelling from one place to another in cars, swanky SUVs have taken the lives of many political leaders, important personalities of state in the past. Be it Nandamuri Janakiram or Shobha Nagireddy or Yerran Naidu or Lal Jan Basha or Vanam Jhansi Rani or former minister P Indra Reddy, all met a violent end for not wearing a seat belt. Ironically, in the most of the above cases, drivers who wore the seat belt survived with injuries. And the latest instance of Badri yet again proves that how important it is to wear seat belt. It's high time authorities should strengthen the road-safety measures to prevent such tragic incidents in future.
