It's no big surprise that Telangana CM KCR has done a big volte-face. KCR, who attended the inaugural event of Shantha Biotech's Insulin Company in Medak, heaped praises on its chief Vara Prasad Reddy to the hilt. Calling him as one of the few best entrepreneurs in the world in the field of medicine, KCR stated that he'd transform Telangana into "Diamond Telangana" (Vajrala Telangana) had he got four persons like Vara Prasad Reddy. KCR went onto talk about Mr Reddy's achievements, awards, contribution to the field etc and proudly stated that government is going to launch hassle-free industrial policy laced with zero tolerance for corruption.
No doubt, Mr Reddy's contribution is vast and he deserves all the accolades. But KCR's sudden U-turn and praising Investors, business honchos from Andhra Pradesh is now raising many eye balls. After visiting Ramoji Film City and hailing Ramoji Rao, Film City, now KCR turned towards entrepreneurs like Vara Prasad Reddy.
It may be recalled that the same KCR had blamed all "Andhra Investors" for "looting" Telangana and taking away jobs of Telangana. Complete contrary to it, KCR is now inviting them to invest more in the Telangana and stating to transform state into Golden Telangana, Diamond Telangana. KCR seems to have waken up now to the reality that Andhra investments are needed for the growth of Telangana, comment leaders from Andhra.
