First Look: Karthi's 'KHAKEE' - The Power of Police

Karthi who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai/ Cheliya, will be seen as a police office  in the upcoming Tamil film ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’ and it has been titled as ‘Khakee’ in Telugu.

Today Karthi has released the first look poster of Khakee on Twitter and captioned it, “Here is first look poster of #Khakee. Hope you like it.”  The poster  features Karthi’s cop avatar. Gorgeous diva Rakul Preet Singh is playing female lead. Interestingly Aditya Music, the leading music label in Telugu, is foraying into film production with this movie. Satturanga Vettai Vinoth is wielding this megaphone. 'Khakee' with a tagline of "The Power of Police",  has the music by Ghibran.

According to sources, the film is getting ready to hit the screens on 29th September on the occasion of Aayudha Pooja but the makers are yet to confirm the theatrical release plans.
