Miss India contests and beauty pageant competitions are no more limited to beautiful, tall and buxom beauties. Gone are the old days.

Nirmala Kelwani, 43, a physically challenged lady, has crowned with Miss Wheelchair India. Interestingly, Nirmala is the first lady in the country as this is the country's first wheelchair beauty pageant. The contest was recently held in Mumbai. A total of 16 women from all across the India have participated in the contest.
