Congress President Sonia Gandhi is all set to announce Telangana formation at a public meeting in Secunderabad Gymkhana or Nizam College grounds in first week of February, 2014.
Such an indication has been notified to all intelligence and enforcement agencies to be prepared for a congregation of a minimum of 5 lakh people at the grounds to greet her as 'creator of Telangana'. 'We have received directions to prepare for the meeting of Sonia Gandhi' as the centre wants to make it historic and trend setter for the 2014 polls, said a AICC official.
The CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was also briefed about the meeting and how the Telangana bifurcation process should proceed henceforth. Asked how CM Kiran will accept it, AICC officials said 'Kiran is a career politician, he will not burn his boat in emotional hiccups'.
Congress high command the Union Home minister plan to push Telangana bill in Parliament by January end and President will put his stamp immediately to declare formation of two states.
