Soon after receiving the message from party leadership about her induction into the cabinet, TDP MLA Paritala Sunitha made it clear none of the culprits in her husband Paritala Ravi's murder case will be allowed to escape.
Speaking to media, Sunitha alleged: "My husband was murdered in broad day light in party office during Congress rule. Everyone knows who is behind this henius crime. After being elected as MLA, I spoke in the Assembly and clear said its a conspiracy chalked out by YSR and YS Jagan. Supporters of Paritala across the state have been wishing to see the case re-opened now. I will take this matter to the notice of our leader Chandrababu Naidu".
Sunitha claimed she was never interested in politics but took up the challenge because of the encouragement given by party president Chandrababu Naidu after her husband's demise. She promised to work towards ensuring drinking and irrigation water for her backward district Anantapur.
Paritala Ravi was brutally killed in party office on January 24th, 2005. A CBI probe was ordered later by YSR Government as there is huge pressure from TDP but the Investigation Agency dropped charges against Jagan and included 16 members as accused in the chargesheet. The death of prime accused Moddu Seenu in the jail itself has raised many doubts in this high-profile case.
