Minister of State for Commerce Nirmala Sitaraman is all set to be nominated for Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh, confide top BJP sources. Nirmala is going to occupy the vacancy created due to death of ex-CM of AP Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy. Nirmala, who was born in Tamil Nadu, is married to Parakala Prabhakar from Andhra Pradesh and became part of Andhra Pradesh.

Nirmala is orator, articulate. She speaks impeccable Telugu, English. Meanwhile, Minister of State for Communication Prakash Javadekar will be nominated for Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh. Nirmala was supposed to be nominated from Karnataka first. Later the plan was dropped as already Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiaha Naidu, who is a non-local, is nominated from Karnataka already. Now Nirmala is going to represent AP in Rajya Sabha.
