Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday asked BJP's newly elected MPs and other leaders to shun the practice of falling on feet. He made these comments addressing the MPs in the Parliament Central Hall. "Don't touch my feet. Instead, Gain knowledge and be a good Parliamentarians," he told, to put an end to the such culture.
Usually, The practice of touching the feet is prevalent in the Gandhi Family politics and some regional parties run by political families. So, Modi's remarks could be seen as an apparent dig at the these family politics which encourage 'sycophancy'.
Ever since he took charge as Prime Minister of the Country, Narendra Modi is leading by a example on how a leader should guide his followers in a right path and how he could be different from the political opponents. Respect NAMO!
