It is no big surprise that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has ruled out his presence at the swearing-in ceremony of his counterpart-Andhra Pradesh CM-elect Chandra Babu Naidu. Considering his track record, naturally, this might appear as a small thing. But there is a lot more. KCR's move- to skip Babu's swearing-in - is going to have adverse affect on the bilateral issues connected to both Seemandhra and Telangana in the long run. Inspite of the fact that KCR hasn't invited Naidu personally and belittled him in many occassions before and after Elections 2014, Chandra Babu Naidu wore a big heart and offered olive branch to KCR in order to call for truce. This could be very good opportunity for KCR to brush-aside all the differences between the duo but he missed it. It's KCR's loss and loss of Telangana people for failing to make truce with neighbour-mother State.

Despite the fact that India is a rival nation to Pakistan and there is a great dissent within his country, and a possible threat to his life, its Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif made it to the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi. He even opened up talks with Modi on various issues, sending out a good signal to citizens of both the nations. If even Nawaz Sharif could attend Modi's swearing-in and so Srilanka President Mahendra Rajapakse, and so Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, natural question that arise is how come KCR, Jagan Reddy skipping the swearing-in of their counterpart that is going to held in Guntur Tomorrow.

By turning down Naidu's personal invitation, KCR has once again lived up to his name, say political observers. Although KCR reportedly told Naidu that he couldn't attend the event because of his Delhi schedule, it is widely-known common fact that Chandra Babu is going to swear-in on June 8. It is evident that KCR has scheduled his Delhi trip knowing Naidu's swearing-in in prior. This, definitely, widens the rift between two Telugu-speaking States further.

KCR has been notorious for belittling and demeaning every Andhra leader, person in every possible way for his personal, political mileage. But that's all history. KCR should put an end to this trend of verbal spat at least now. Now that he is CM of a State, it's high time KCR should reconcile and act accordingly for the well-being of people of Telangana. On flip side, Jagan and KCR are one and the same. While even Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi could attend Modi's swearing-in, Jagan Mohan now decided to stay away from Babu's swearing-in. Looks like, Jagan hasn't learnt anything from his recent poll debacle.
