Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao making it clear that conditions will apply for the farm loan waiver poll sop didn't go down well with the farmers of the new state.
TRS Ministers informed media about the decisions taken by the Government during the meeting with Bankers Association. The conditions include the time period from June 2013 to June 2014. Everyone including the opposition parties and farmers have expressed their anguish on the conditional loan waiver.
This announcement made by TRS Government on Wednesday has caused heart break to a farmer named Boyina Dathatri (50) who hails from Khasimpur village in Zaheerabad, Medak. He took the loan amount to the tune of Rs 1 lakh from bank in the year 2011. He is survived by 7 Daughters and has got debts to clear.
KCR backtracking on his promise has been a serious concern for farmers. In Fact, TRS promised farm loan waiver without reference to any crop year. So, Going back on it amounts to nothing but betrayal!
