Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has come up with few conditions on 'crop loan waiver' poll sop to reduce the burden on state exchequer.
During the meeting with Bankers Association on Wednesday, KCR has taken few crucial decisions regarding the populist scheme 'Farm Loan Waiver'. He even asked the Bankers to provide completes details of crop loans taken by Farmers upto Rs 1 lakh by Tomorrow.
KCR's Conditions - Farm Loan Waiver:
1) Loan amount upto Rs 1 lakh will be waived;
2) Only Farm Loan will be waived, Gold or Other Loans willn't be considered;
3) Only Crop Loans between June 2013 to June 2014 will fall under Farm Loan Waiver scheme.
How would the Telangana Farmers react to the 1 Year time period? Although KCR limited the loan waiver amount to Rs 1 lakh against TDP's complete waiver, Farmers in the 29th State believed at least their loan sum to the tune of Rs 1 lakh taken in the past 5 years will be waived. The conditions imposed by KCR after being elected to power willn't go down well with the farmers.
May be, KCR succeeded in bring the 'crop loan waiver' burden on exchequer down to Rs 12,000 crore. But, What matters most is he lost the credibility!
