Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister-elect Chandra Babu Naidu has once again proved that he is quintessential diplomat. Babu already personally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and top Central leaders for his landmark oath taking ceremony as the first CM of new Andhra Pradesh to be held on June 8 in Guntur. He set the record straight that he is willing to offer olive branch to his betenoires KCR and Jagan. Naidu on record said that he would call Jagan, KCR personally over phone and invite them to his Swearing-in ceremony. Babu said that it's time to ditch personal rivalries and move on for the progress, development of two Telugu-speaking states. Babu pressed that he would KCR as well although the latter didn't invite him to his swearing-in.
Brushing off the differences between Naidu and KCR aside, all eyes are on how Jagan Reddy going to take it. Will Jagan accept Naidu's invite and attend the do? Or will Jagan continue to shy away from making presence? Considering the history of events, Jagan has been adamant. Even after sound poll drubbing, Jagan went onto blame Naidu for his "false" promises rather than accepting people's mandate. Jagan has been making blunders one after the other. His meeting with Narendra Modi, even before he sworn-in as Prime Minister, became controversial and backfired Jagan. Although Jagan tried his best to cover it, it didn't work in favour of him.
At least now, Jagan should shed those petty issues and accept Naidu's invitation whole-heartedly. Considering that Seemandhra got raw deal in the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, both ruling and opposition party should work in tandem for the well-being of people.
