The Telangana Government plans to conduct its first the independence day celebrations on August 15th at the Golconda Fort the historical relic of the Nizam state and part for the Telangana heritage.
TS CM K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the chief secretary to make all arrangements at the Golconda fort which is presently under the Archaeological Survey of India and Military garrison.
The Andhra Pradesh Govt also has plans to conduct its first independence day celebrations at Kurnool where the state capital was held prior to merger with Telangana state.
