Superstar Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush’s father Kasthuriraja has joined Bharatiya Janatha Party in Coimbatore on Thursday. The Veteran Filmmaker has formally joined the party in the presence of the party’s national president Amit Shah.
A source close to the filmmaker said “Kasthuriraja is impressed with the ways of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He would take the policies and principles of the BJP to the people. He feels that it is the right party to serve the nation.”
Recently, actor and former Union Minister Napoleon, music composer-lyricist-director Gangai Amaran joined the BJP, it may be recalled.
Kasthuriraja’s elder son is Selvaraghavan, who too is a popular filmmaker.
