For every Indian, the name of Mahatma Gandhi is imprinted in the hearts so whenever an occasion related to him comes, the involvement is high. This time, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is coming up with some ambitious plans. This is on the eve of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary celebrations.
Till recently it was the birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda but the spirit of Vivekananda was focused on only few centers and it has not really touched the real people in maximum. However, Gandhiji's story is something more universal and many connect with him.
Everyday all see him in currency note and he is the father of the nation. So, Modi has come up with a 'Gandhi-150' initiative and he wants to 'Clean India' by 2019. Modi reportedly reiterated that he will do his part to change the face of India to an extent and he is bringing huge investment from countries like Japan for that. Let us hope India sees a brighter dawn in the days to come and Bapuji's soul rests in peace.
