Is something bothering Opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy due to which there is a sudden change in his stance over the proposed location of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh State. Some people who are following these developments closely feel, it is the proposed name of the new capital that is bothering Jagan Mohan Reddy the most!
Sources say that Jagan and his team were taken by surprise with the proposed name, that will place late chief minister N T Rama Rao as the tallest leader in the State. And with this YSRCP also fears that the clout of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy will be restricted to a district within Rayalaseema region.
It is being said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is likely to announce the name and location of the new capital on September 4th. It is also being said that the new capital is likely to be called 'Tarakarama Nagar' named after NTR, who was the first non-Congress chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh State.
Though YSRCP leaders led by Jagan demanded for a debate and voting before new capital is chosen; it would be interesting to see what steps they would take if Naidu goes ahead and makes the proposed announcement in the next few hours!
