Celebrities responsible for non performing assets?

In a startling statement Andhra Bank CMD CVR.Rajendran said that celebrities in the country are responsible for Non Performing Assets (NPA).

He said non performing assets are cause of concern and it played major role in bringing down Q3 profits. He added that celebrities like film stars and politicians are responsible for the high stock of Non Performing Assets in Andhra Bank.

Elaborating further Rajendran Said " Infrastructure and Power sector account for huge chunk of the NPAs and Telugu people own numerous power and infra companies which are now under ICUs"

Rajendran made this statement while announcing the bank's third quarter results. He also warned that if agriculture loans taken on surety of gold are not repaid then they would be forced to auction the gold.
