Andhra Pradesh cheif minister Nara Chandrababu naidu has called all the industrialists, celebrities and local big shots to adopt villages as part of Smart Village campaign. The design for this campaign is made by NCBN and he wanted everyone to develop the village in a prescribed twenty aspects. Nara Chandra Babu wanted to prove that he stand on his words and he himself also adapted a village in the process.
CBN’s native place has adopted by his daughter-in-law Brahmini where Lokesh has adopted Nimmakur which was birth place of late NTR. Cheif Minister CBN adopted Pedalapudi Village in Araku Mandal. The inner reason behind selecting this village is that TDP is not strong politically in Araku Valley and he wanted to strengthen the party by actively involving himself. He thought this would be the right way and the TDP cadre is happy that because of adoption of CBN all villages in this mandal would be developed.
