Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest film 'Jai Simha' received a decent response at the box office.  Though it didn't start off with hit talk, it is perfectly catering the target audience and the collections are also pretty good considering the moderate budget of the films.  Balayya is busy promoting his film with media interviews.  He shared several interesting things in a recent promotional interview.

While talking about the remakes in the interview, he said that KS Ravi Kumar suggested him a remake eight years ago but he didn't show interest in doing a remake.  He opined that all credit goes to the original hero whenever someone does a remake.  That's the reason why he doesn't show interest to do remakes.

It is known that Balayya stopped doing remakes for a long time.  He has done remakes like Mangamma Gari Manavadu(Man Vasanai in Tamil).. Muddula Mavayya(En Tangachi Padichava In Tamil).. Lakshmi Narasimha (Saami in Tamil) and a couple of other films in the initial days of his career.

Interestingly, Balayya is the only senior hero who has done very few remakes in his career.  When it comes to this generation stars, Mahesh Babu also feels the same and he has never done a remake in his entire career.
