Beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be very slow learner. Despite sound thrashing in recent polls, Jagan hasn't learned much. And, it seems, he is not in a mood to accept people's verdict. His latest comments at YSRCP Poll Review meeting in Rajahmundry says that all. Jagan has not just blamed Chandra Babu Naidu, this time around he also blames people for voting against him.
Jagan said that people have believed in Naidu's 'false' promises. Going into numbers Jagan points out, "While we got 1 Crore 30 Lakh votes, TDP has got 1 Crore 35.5 Lakh votes. Only 5.5 Lakh people have believed in Naidu's false promises." Are 5.5 Lakh voters nothing for Jagan? And here comes Jagan's another reason for his defeat."While there were 28 States in India, before elections, none of the parties either ruling or opposition party, has vowed to waive farm, crop and Dwakra loans. Only Chandra Babu has done this for power," Jagan cries foul.
So, what does Jagan mean? Are problems of Andhra Pradesh same as every other state? While farmers in AP have been suffering a lot, there is nothing wrong in waiving their loans in order to prevent suicides of farmers. This practice was initiated by none other than his father. Why was Jagan now crying foul against Naidu's poll promises now. Is this another attempt by Jagan to bluff his party leaders, party workers? In fact many people have voted against Jagan due to his corruption charges rather than Naidu's poll promises. No doubt, Chandra Babu's expertise and experience as Ex-CM have influenced people to opt for him.
Jagan Reddy & Co also reportedly declared war against media at YSRCP Review meeting. According to media reports, Jagan openly blamed reputed media houses like ETV, ABN Andhra Jyothi and TV9. Jagan must realize that people have chosen him as Opposition leader to fight for them against misdeeds in Government but not to wage war against media. It's high time, Jagan must change his attitude. Else, he would be paying hefty price very soon, predict political analysts.
